Hello World!

My name is Samuel Thomas, and I'm a recent graduate of the Rocky Mountain College or Art and Design. I earned a BFA in 3d animation with a focus in realistic modeling.

I was fortunate to have been homeschooled for a majority of my education. This really opened my life to what I could do and let me nurture lots of crazy hobbies and weird skills. I started seriously studying art when I turned 15 and it quickly became my passion. Through a close friend I was introduced to 3d animation, and ever since its been my overwhelming passion.

I strive in all my work to make it as realistic as possible, tricking the viewer into believing that the creature, or character I've created is actually real, or could exist. Also I love to model Dinosaurs. They fascinate me with their odd shapes and ways of moving. Plus it makes the little kid in me very happy.

"Talent must be a fanatical mistress. She's beautiful; when you're with her, people watch you, they notice. But she bangs on your door at odd hours, and she disappears for long stretches, and she has no patience for the rest of your existence"
